This bamboo scoop might not look like anything special. But this scoop is actually very popular among tea lovers. Why? This bamboo scoop is lighter and softer than stainless steel scoop, which is great for scooping fragile tea leaves. Using a stainless steel scoop can easily harm your precious tea leaves. Using a scale to measure your tea is more recommended. But when you don't have the scale, the scoop also measures pretty neatly for most teas using a gongfu style brewing method.

It cracked
Unfortunately, the bamboo tea scoop cracked right after I purchased it and I never got to really use it. I could have been more careful with how I carried it with me when I bought it but next time, I would buy either solid wood scoop or metal scoop that are more durable.
