This small Jingdezhen wood-fired aroma teacup is made for teas that reveal more when brewed with concentration. At approximately 30 mL, it is especially enjoyable with fragrant Dancong oolong and bold raw puerh.

Smell the Cup. Taste the Tea.

After warming or rinsing the cup, take a moment to smell it. Try again after your first sip. The lingering fragrance can reveal floral, fruity, or other subtle notes that are easy to miss while drinking.

The cup's compact size invites smaller sips. A gentle slurp draws in air as you taste, which can help you explore the balance and different layers of a stronger infusion. It is a thoughtful choice for high-quality teas you prefer to brew with intensity.

Amber Mist (30 mL): Warm amber tones meet soft gray-brown wood-fired markings, with a lightly speckled cream-colored interior. The back has a calmer, warm earthen finish. Photos show this design.

A Note from Leo

I found this cup during my trip to Jingdezhen in 2025. I have always loved wood-fired teaware, but for this one, I was especially interested in its small size and how it works with stronger teas.

When I drink a good Dancong or raw puerh, I like to smell the cup after rinsing it or after the first sip. Sometimes the empty cup tells you just as much as the tea itself. This is the kind of small detail that makes a gongfu session more enjoyable for me.
