Jingdezhen Handmade Ocean-glazed Porcelain Gaiwan (Approx. 140 ml)
Handcrafted in Jingdezhen, China’s legendary porcelain capital, this piece carries forward over a thousand years of refined artistry. It’s from the same city where imperial porcelain was once born, and where today’s artisans continue to blend timeless craftsmanship with modern beauty.
This handmade Jingdezhen ocean-glazed gaiwan captures the feeling of water in motion — calm on the surface, alive beneath.
Each piece is individually thrown, glazed, and fired in Jingdezhen, where centuries of porcelain tradition meet contemporary glaze artistry. The glaze flows naturally from soft milky white into layers of seafoam, turquoise, and deep ocean blue, forming organic currents and pooling that can never be replicated.
Subtle crackle lines emerge beneath the glaze during high-temperature firing, a quiet signature of handmade Jingdezhen porcelain. Inside the bowl, mineral speckling and gentle gradients echo light passing through water, giving each gaiwan its own depth and character.
No two pieces are the same — every gaiwan is a singular expression shaped by hand, fire, and chance.
