There are only about 20 tea gardens in Japan produce this unique tea. And guess what? We've been lucky enough to find one of the absolute best! The flavor? Oh, it's something else! Picture this: it's kinda lemony and citrusy, with these sour notes that remind you of grape leaf. And here's the thing, while it's not exactly like kombucha, we're convinced that all you kombucha lovers out there will absolutely adore this tea. It has a similar flavor profile, but trust me, it's much smoother and more refreshing.
After you drink this tea, get ready for that quenching and rejuvenating effect. You'll feel like a whole new person, I kid you not! Plus, thanks to the fermentation process, this tea is naturally low in caffeine. The kids of the tea farmer drink this tea all day long to stay hydrated. Now, that's saying something!
Brewing this tea just right is crucial.
Western brewing: Steep it at around 170-180°F (76-82°C) for about 2-3 minutes. Play around with the brewing time to find your perfect brew. Oh, and don't forget to take a moment, sip it slowly, and savor all the goodness.
