Jingdezhen Authentic White Jade Gaiwan (Approx. 100 ml)
Dimensions: 4" wide x 3.25" tall

A gaiwan is a traditional Chinese tea brewing vessel made up of three parts: a bowl, a lid, and a saucer. It’s a staple in gongfu-style brewing because it gives you full control over steeping, aroma, and temperature. You can either sip directly or pour the tea into a fairness pitcher or cups.

This particular gaiwan, made from white jade porcelain (白玉瓷), brings together form and purity in a striking way. Sourced directly from master artisans in Jingdezhen, it’s crafted from an exceptionally fine clay that mimics the soft sheen and creamy smoothness of real jade — without ornament or distraction.

What sets it apart is its thin, evenly translucent body. When held to the light, it glows with a gentle, natural radiance — the kind only possible with skillfully fired high-grade porcelain. Its unglazed white interior isn’t just beautiful — it’s functional. The neutral tone reflects the true color of the tea, helping you better observe leaves and tea strength as they brew.

This is a great option if you want a well-crafted gaiwan that feels refined but isn’t overly expensive. It’s simple, clean, and made for daily use — whether you’re just getting started with gongfu tea or looking for a reliable porcelain brewing piece.

Love it.

This is perfect for me. I love how simple it is. It looks great to me and I am not one for overly complicated designs and pictures. I am very happy with it. I use it as my main brewing gaiwan for my daily tea.
