Sourced from untamed, old-growth tea trees deep in the region, this tea is incredibly hard to find due to its rarity and the meticulous hand-plucking of only the finest leaves and buds. These wild trees grow naturally, untouched by human hands, which imparts a unique depth and complexity to the tea that is hard to match.

The aroma is beautifully sweet and citrusy, with notes of lemon and tangerine, complemented by a delicate hint of orange blossom. There’s also a subtle saltiness that enhances its flavor complexity, with a cooling, light to medium body that’s refreshing from start to finish. The aftertaste is smooth and cooling, with no bitterness or astringency, making it a truly refined experience.

We highly recommend brewing this tea gongfu style, using 5g of tea in a 100-120ml gaiwan or teapot, and steeping with boiling water. Rinse quickly and infuse for about 40 seconds on the first brew. Drop the steeping time to 15 seconds on the second brew. Add 5 seconds for additional brew. What’s more, this tea can be steeped a minimum of 8 times before it begins to lose its complexity, ensuring each session is a rewarding experience.
