Handcrafted Jingdezhen Wood-Fired Animal Teapots (Approx. 75-110 ml)
Dimensions: 4.25-4.75" wide x 43.75-4.25" tall

These Handcrafted Jingdezhen Wood-Fired Animal Teapots combine ancient craftsmanship, natural beauty, and rich symbolism — each one shaped by both the artist’s hand and the unpredictable flame.

Fired for days in a traditional dragon kiln (龍窯 / lóng yáo), drifting wood ash settles on the clay, creating natural glazes and earthy, one-of-a-kind textures. The result is a teapot full of character — smooth to the touch, subtly mineral, and visually stunning. The wood-fired clay holds heat evenly, bringing out smooth, balanced flavors in your tea, while its semi-vitrified surface softens bitterness for a clean, gentle brew. Especially with oolongs and puerhs, you’ll taste a round, warming depth with faint notes of natural sweetness from the wood-firing's minerality.

Each lid is topped with a small horse or rabbit — both meaningful and auspicious symbols in Chinese tea culture. The horse represents speed, success, power, and perseverance, tied to the legendary “tea-for-horses” trade and the revered Celestial Horse — a reminder of strength and forward momentum. The rabbit, on the other hand, symbolizes longevity, beauty, and peace, inspired by the Moon Rabbit of Chinese mythology who creates elixirs of immortality — a gentle emblem of good fortune and renewal.

Handmade in Jingdezhen, the thousand-year Porcelain Capital of China, each teapot is completely unique — a harmony of fire, earth, and artistry, carrying not just tea but also meaning and story with every pour.
