A delicate celebration of spring, this porcelain teacup comes from Banko-yaki (萬古焼), the celebrated pottery tradition of Mie Prefecture, Japan.
Each cup is individuallyhand-painted with layers of soft pink cherry blossoms, accented with touches of fresh green and fine white detailing. Against the luminous porcelain, the blossoms seem to float across the surface like sakura seen through a gentle spring mist.
