The Laobanzhang Gushu Sheng Puerh (老班章 古树) comes straight from the heart of this legendary village, made exclusively from mature gushu trees — no blends, no young material. It’s everything Laobanzhang is famous for: thick mouthfeel, commanding chaqi, body-warming energy, and a flavor that stays with you long after the last sip.

Laobanzhang, tucked deep in Menghai County, Yunnan, is known for producing teas with overwhelming power (霸气 baqi). The altitude, ancient trees, and mineral-rich soil create a tea that’s not just tasted — it’s felt.

Authentic Laobanzhang gushu is extremely rare and commands high prices, even within China. This year, we were able to secure a small amount at a better rate than usual, though the tea remains a high-end, limited offering.
