A roomy white jade porcelain teapot with a rounded shape and a built-in porcelain filter.
The Yuanrong (圆融壶) is a white jade porcelain gongfu teapot from Jingdezhen, China. Its rounded body, smoothly curved handle, slender spout, and domed lid give it a classic, simple shape. The bright white porcelain lets the craftsmanship and clean lines stand out without additional decoration.
Made for Sharing Tea
With a capacity of approximately 240 ml, this teapot is larger than many small gongfu teapots. It is a practical choice when you are brewing for several people and want to fill more cups with each infusion, without constantly preparing another pot.
Built-In Porcelain Ball Filter
The teapot has an integrated ball-hole porcelain filter (球孔) inside the spout opening. The small holes help hold back loose tea leaves as you pour, without requiring a separate metal filter inside the pot. The smooth porcelain interior is suitable for a wide range of loose-leaf teas, including oolongs, black teas, white teas, and puerh.

A Note from Leo
For years, I've been looking for genuine Jingdezhen teaware I could bring into the shop. So many pieces I found were either made in other regions but sold as Jingdezhen, or simply too expensive to offer at a reasonable price.
I finally found well-made Jingdezhen porcelain that's affordable, too. What I love most is how thin yet durable it feels, and how comfortable it is to hold. Once you use a good Jingdezhen piece, you start to understand why this porcelain is so highly regarded. Personally, I find it hard to go back to ceramics from other regions.
