Jingdezhen "Blossom Luster" Gaiwan (Approx. 90 ml) & Teacups (Approx. 30ml)
Dimensions: 3.5" wide x 3.5" tall Gaiwan and 1.25" wide x 1.75" tall Teacup
The Blossom Luster collection represents one of the artist’s most elegant and restrained expressions, balancing quiet surfaces with luminous detail. Handcrafted in Jingdezhen, each gaiwan and teacup is formed from dark stoneware, giving the set a grounded, substantial presence from the moment it touches the hand.
The exterior is finished in a dusty, matte gray glaze—soft, muted, and intentionally understated. This calm surface sets the stage for what’s inside. When opened or tilted, the interior reveals a rich copper-toned glaze, glowing with warmth and depth. The contrast feels intentional rather than dramatic: subtle from a distance, quietly striking up close.
Adding to this refined dialogue, each piece is adorned with hand-painted silver blossoming flowers. The floral motifs are minimal and thoughtfully placed, acting as gentle accents rather than decoration for decoration’s sake. They catch the light just enough to add dimension and grace, enhancing the piece without overwhelming it.
This interplay—matte and luminous, earthy and metallic, quiet and radiant—is what defines the collection. While the copper interior and silver details introduce visual interest, the overall feeling remains balanced and composed, never flashy. The pieces feel elevated yet grounded, refined but deeply usable.
In hand, the gaiwan and cups feel calm and steady, inviting slower, more attentive tea sessions. This is a collection for those who appreciate subtle luxury—where beauty reveals itself gradually, through contrast, texture, and thoughtful restraint.
Each gaiwan and teacup is handcrafted, each piece slightly different from the next.
