This GABA (Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid) Oolong is from Nantou, Taiwan, invented by the Japanese in 1984. Flushed with nitrogen during the oxidation process. GABA Oolong is very popular because of its benefits such as relieving anxiety, improving mood, reducing symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and treating attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

I'm more of a Jasmine / Blue People guy, so when I first had this, I thought it would be a bust... too sour. However, I adapted to the taste, and realized it has a really full, smooth body after the initial semi-sour hit. I also originally suspected the GABA thing was a gimmick, but I found myself lowkey craving this tea... and realized I feel unusually calm, happy, and focused after drinking it. Ordering more now.

I'm more of a Jasmine / Blue People guy, so when I first had this, I thought it would be a bust... too sour. However, I adapted to the taste, and realized it has a really full, smooth body after the initial semi-sour hit. I also originally suspected the GABA thing was a gimmick, but I found myself lowkey craving this tea... and realized I feel unusually calm, happy, and focused after drinking it. Ordering more now.
