However: it is white-glazed inside, which is not a treatment which true mutton fat ( jade) porcelain usually receives since it does not impart any additional benefits to that type of porcelain - regardless of its thickness - if true, only obscuring its natural beauty. Since I do not know why the manufacturer chose to do that - whether it was the inferior porcelain or too fast-paced beliefs about consumers preferences, and since the tea so far has been behaving well in it, I am not taking a star off for that, only give a due warning for those for whom it matters since this is, after all, a large part of customers who choose plain white mutton fat porcelain for specific and important reasons. . .
