Sourced by Leo during his June 2024 visit to Chiran in Kagoshima, Japan, this matcha from the famous Chiran region in Kagoshima, Japan. Made from the renowned 100% Oku Midori cultivar, famous for its umami and sweet nutty notes. Delight in the velvety almond creaminess, complemented by a subtle sweetness reminiscent of freshly baked bread.
Every batch is subjected to traditional stone-grinding techniques to maintain the tea's vivid green color and subtle fragrance. Due to this meticulous process, only 30g can be produced per hour, highlighting the time-intensive nature of crafting this premium matcha.

How to Prepare: Use 1 grams of matcha (about 1.5 chashaku scoops) with 150ml of water at 65-70°C (155-165°F). Whisk briskly in an "M" shape until frothy.
