the flavor was rich and buttery. the dark roast leaves the taste buds with subtle notes of popcorn.
I agree with the reviewer who said "for those coffee enthusiasts who want to try out tea and don't want to give up their coffee flavor". That's pretty much it. Stays strong through many, many steeps. The first steep/wash was a little weak, still worth drinking, but after that the color, flavor and aroma all exploded. Beautiful aftertaste, maybe fruit? Maybe some spruce tips? Something bright. I'm new to tea, still struggling to describe what I'm tasting, but whatever it is, in this case it's all good.
i really enjoy this tea.

A dark roasted iron goddess is definitely for those coffee enthusiasts who want to try out tea and don't want to give up their coffee flavor.
