This is a great Yixing purple Clay Teapot and cups for brewing Taiwanese oolong or black tea. It is important to understand a quality clay teapot: the lid must snug tightly, The surface of the teapot is very smooth, the pouring might not leak any water from the top, and finally, it should not have any bad chemical smell.
Please make sure to never wash the teapot and cups with soap and only season them with one type of tea. We don't recommend you using this teapot and cups for flavored tea.
