This is the original farm I fell in love with back in 2018. After years of searching for something that came close, countless tastings, and many trips back to Japan, I finally found my way back to the very farm that first captured my heart. Through long conversations and deep connections within the tea community, I was able to reconnect with this Kagoshima producer and bring this tea back exactly as I remembered it.

From the first sip, the tea delivers a soothing sweetness that lingers gently on the palate, leaving a clean, refreshing aftertaste that feels both calming and quietly uplifting. It’s the kind of tea you can return to throughout the day—comforting, grounding, yet never heavy. The body is full and smooth, with layered nuances that slowly unfold and reward your attention.

As soon as you open the bag, savory umami notes rise first, followed by a soft hint of rose. With a bit of time and warmth, the aroma opens further, revealing refreshing notes of dried mango and young cantaloupe that feel bright and inviting rather than perfumed.

This tea comes from a Kagoshima farm that is deeply committed to organic cultivation. With no nearby non-organic tea farms, the growing environment remains clean and uncompromised, allowing the character of the leaves to shine through with clarity and honesty. There’s a quiet reassurance in knowing the tea is truly organic, shaped only by its land, its cultivar, and the care of the people who grow it.

Every cup reflects the harmony between nature, craftsmanship, and a genuine love for organic tea. This is a tea that carries the soul of Kagoshima—one that I’m deeply grateful to be able to share again.
