Our Autumn Harmony Gaiwan is made of natural rock minerals combined with aged clay and high-temperature firing. The rough and granular surface reflects the unique craftsmanship of the primitive and natural kiln. Over time, the rough surface becomes smooth, making the tea set's heat dissipation slower and better than that of pottery and porcelain. The high-temperature oxidation-reduction firing creates a quartz adobe with activated carbon similar to medical stone, resulting in a smooth and mellow taste when drinking.
The process of kiln firing adds a unique texture to the pot, resulting in multiple firings. In comparison to "Huo", "Yan" has a denser composition, allowing for a superior display of tea flavors and aromas. Ideal for teas with enduring fragrances, smooth tea soup, and complex layers of flavor.
This Gaiwan features a rich, textured finish with earthy tones and speckled patterns in shades of red, gold, and blue, reminiscent of a colorful autumn landscape. The shape is traditional, with a rounded body and a flared rim, ensuring comfortable handling and aesthetic appeal. The lid and saucer are adorned with intricate, nature-inspired designs, including a unique handle that resembles a branch with flowers, adding a touch of rustic charm.
