If you're looking for a tea that's light yet with a medium body and a perfect balance of umami, sweetness, and grassy aroma, this is the one for you! It's the most wonderful tea to sip on every single day. Seriously, it's mouthwatering and oh-so-refreshing!
This special cultivar is called "Kirari 31." It's made from a rare variety born in Miyazaki, called "Sakimidori," which is vibrant green and sweet, and has about 1.5 times more chlorophyll content than "Yabukita." On top of that, it also inherits the less astringent and rich taste of "Saemidori." This exquisite blend is crafted through an exclusive firing process that preserves the untarnished beauty of the green tea leaves. It's named "Kirari 31" with the hope that it will become a shining variety, growing abundantly under the sunlight, and producing top-notch tea. The flavor is rich and mellow, with a refreshing and clean aftertaste.
To brew it perfectly, grab a Japanese teapot and use about 4g of tea with around 180ml of water at a temperature of 145ºF. Let it steep for approximately 90 seconds.
