Satsuki Houjicha Green Tea - Limited Time

This houjicha green tea is from Miyazaki, southern Japan.

Satsuki, located in the southern part of Miyazaki Prefecture, is renowned for its pristine natural environment and ideal tea-growing conditions. The region's warm climate, abundant rainfall, and fertile volcanic soil contribute to the exceptional quality of its tea leaves.  The leaves are carefully roasted to produce a flavorful houjicha with a rich, nutty, chestnut-like taste and a smooth finish. This houjicha is made from high-quality tea leaves that are cultivated using traditional methods passed down through generations of tea farmers in Satsuma.

In addition to its exceptional taste, houjicha is low in caffeine and contains high levels of antioxidants, making it the perfect choice for those looking for a healthier alternative to coffee or other caffeinated beverages. 

Use 4g of tea with 150ml of water at 175ºF (70ºC) and steep for approximately 40 seconds to craft the perfect brew of this tea.
