During a gongfu tea ceremony, it is important to use a fairness cup to make sure that everyone on the table get the same flavor of the tea. Without using a fairness cup, the first person will get a weaker flavor tea and the last person on the table will get the strongest flavor tea.
It's a lot more durable than I expected and pours well.

The cup is attractive as well as functional. I ordinarily would want something with volumes marked on it, but I've got to get away from the laboratory some time.
