The leaves for this cake were picked and processed in Spring 2006, with a two-year pile fermentation process before pressing into cakes.

These cakes have been stored in special warehouses for fermentation purposes. This time of aging gives you a prominent aged scent and clear bright red liquid when brewing and drinking this tea.

If you like earthy flavors that linger on your tongue, this tea is for you. The slightly nutty and earthy flavor will make it hard to stop drinking the puerh as its rich taste begs to be savored again and again!

Fantastic tea. Rich flavor. Thank you Tea and Wisk for carrying it. It’s been getting harder to find good Pu-erh. Most of what I can find is pu-erh average (see what I did there).

My first Pu-Erh

This was my first time ever trying a Pu-Erh tea and I was not disappointed! The scent and flavor remind me of tobacco and the scent of old books. I know that sounds weird but it is very comforting. Will make a lovely and refreshing summer iced tea too!

Fantastic!

I've only had 2 sessions so far, but I really enjoy the strong, complex flavor. A little smoky, earthy but no wet pile taste. This could become a favorite!
