This Charcoal Roasted Shanlinxi Oolong, is a tea crafted for true tea connoisseurs! Originating from the picturesque mountains of Zhushan Town, Nantou, Taiwan, this high-quality, hand-picked oolong offers a one-of-a-kind tea experience.

At an altitude of over 4,500 meters, our Shanlinxi Oolong tea boasts a distinctive "cold fragrance," a unique aroma exclusive to high mountain teas from this mountain. This aroma comes from the perfect harmonization of cedar trees and the soft branch oolong tree species, enveloped year-round by misty, cool air.

Our oolong tea is sourced from the Qingxin Cultivar, known for its elegant fragrance. The picking process of one stem and two leaves, coupled with the traditional low-temperature, hand-roasting technique, ensures that each tea leaf is tender and rich in pectin content, creating a delicately smooth and full-bodied taste.

The Charcoal Roasted Shanlinxi Oolong offers a golden-colored brew with a distinct, smooth, and well-rounded flavor profile. With its medium-roast aroma and delightful subtleties, it's a perfect tea for oolong enthusiasts and Taiwanese tea drinkers lovers.

To savor the true essence of this tea, we recommend following these brewing instructions:
1. Preheat your gaiwan with hot water.
2. Use about 2.5 grams of tea leaves per 100 ml of water.
3. Rinse the leaves in water at 100°C (212°F).
4. Allow the tea to infuse for around 1 minute for the first infusion.
5. For your second infusion, drop the steeping time for about 20 seconds, gradually increasing the duration for subsequent infusions. You should taste a lot of creamy notes, follow by sweet and roast notes that linger at the aftertaste.
