While there are many different types of Honey Jinjunmei black tea on the market, not all of them are created equal. The real Honey Jinjunmei should give you a full body, heavy texture honey-like. There should not make your mouth feel dry after. It should give you very sweet honey in the aroma and the aftertaste.
In 2005, the people of Tongmu Village sought to develop a new tea called Jinjunmei, inspired by their long-standing production of Lapsang Souchong. They wanted it to be even higher quality than before and revolutionize how black tea is made by using just buds instead of leaves. Jinjunmei is priceless because it takes tens of thousands of fresh tea bud tips to make 500 grams. This development sparked a resurgence in Chinese black tea, and it has been dubbed one of China's most successful inventions of black tea.
One of our most popular black tea - Honey Jinjunmei, now comes even better version.
Our tea producer sometimes hid their best teas from me, because she has many customers that have been getting tea way longer than we have. So to be able to get an incredibly amazing quality black tea like this feels like winning the lottery.
If you're looking for an incredible black tea experience, look no further than our Competition Grade Honey Jinjunmei black tea. This particular batch is 100% handpicked with a manual process that takes a whole 12 hours to produce one kilo of this black tea.
