2016 Red Cliff Shou Pu-erh
One of the best introductory shou puerh that we have in the shop. Slightly earthy tones underline with a nice cooling finish.

I never thought I would like a Pu-erh after my first experience with one but this tea changed that. I really enjoy having this tea in the late afternoon or evening and it definitely makes you feel relaxed and calm...so don’t plan on getting anything done for awhile LOL!
Very mellow, a great tea to just sit and sip on
Leo recommended it for the Father's Day sale so I bought 4oz. Very smooth and mellow. A bit tea drunky but slowly. Like it creeps in on you instead of knocking you out right away.
Quality Intro shou puerh not to be undermined. Clean, with a non-obtrusive mixture of earth, wood, light fruit, and camphor notes. Steeps with durability- lasting 5-6 steepings without noticeable decline in flavor. Which makes for a nice session tea. Decent bang for your buck. Although I typically like puerhs which have strong notes of “mummy”, crypt, and old death- this tea has some refreshing brevity.
