The Original Thai Tea
Thai tea is a full-bodied black tea with spicy, somewhat licorice notes and subtle citrus notes. This tea is traditionally made concentrated and served with milk/cream and sugar for a Thai iced tea, but served the tea is also really good served hot. This Thai Tea is not the same as the Thai tea you normally get at a cafe––those Thai teas usually use a lot of food coloring and artificial flavoring. This Thai tea uses 100% real ingredients.
Steep about 1 tbsp for a 20-oz cup for about 5 minutes with a water temperature around 205° Fahrenheit. Filter the loose leaf out and add about 2 tsp of half-and-half to make this delicious tea. You can substitute the cream with your own favorite cream or substitute. Add sweetener according to your liking
Ingredients: Black tea, anise seed, cardamom, star anise.
