It took a whopping two kilograms of fresh jasmine flowers to make a single kilogram of this Silver Needle white tea. Fresh Silver Needle white tea is scented by being repeatedly mixed and rotated with multiple batches of fresh jasmine flowers every six hours. The old jasmine flowers are removed and fresh batches of jasmine flowers are added in for a total of six six-hour infusions. The jasmine used to scent this tea is from Guangxi province, famously known for its high-quality jasmine flowers.Â
This tea is a more full-body version of the jasmine pearls. The jasmine fragrance is delicate in its flavor, which blends well with the sweetness from the white tea. A nice jasmine aftertaste with a refreshing mouthfeel is a bonus. If you already love jasmine tea, this is definitely a must-try!
