The Yuzamashi is an essential tool for enjoying high-quality Japanese green tea. The accessory allows you to adjust the temperature of boiling water, warm enough that it's perfect when brewing Sencha or Genmaicha in their respective cups!
To brew Sencha or Genmaicha, fill your kyusu with your tea. Then pour boiling water into the Yuzamashi and then slowly pour the water into your Kyusu. This will keep your tea at an ideal temperature of 176F (80C) for optimal taste!
To make the perfect cup of Gyokuro, fill your kyusu with your tea. With boiling water pour slowly into a Japanese teacup and then pour the same heated liquid out again into your Yuzamashi which helps regulate temperature for making a Gyokuro. The water should now be much cooler than boiling temperature. Your water is now ready to be used for your Gyokuro. You can then slowly pour the water into your Kyusu to make your Gyokuro

KHANH DANG Service is surprisingly good and fast. The Yuzamashi is matched with my tea set. A little bit disappointed is its size is much smaller than I thought. And it made in China????? The cups belong japanese tea set.
